The women who are unfulfilled by their careers do not have the right resources to help them step into soul-aligned careers. Many people talk to their therapists about how their careers are burning them out and how their toxic workplaces are making them feel miserable and sick. Sometimes, these women will hire a career coach or work with a recruiter, but these folks are generally focused on landing them a role quickly to put more money in their pockets.
I’ve learned that high-performing women need someone who gets where they are coming from on an emotional level and a career strategist who can help them effectively market and elevate their skills as quickly as possible. They need someone who can get them results quickly- whether that’s a new role within, a pivot to a new company with values that align with your own, or an industry pivot- they need someone who can help them reverse-engineer the career search. And they need someone who can help them do this with a high degree of emotional intelligence, who understands the risks and costs of staying (and of making change), and who can strategically support them.
